Our Services
As an RIBA Chartered Architect, our practice can provide a fully comprehensive architectural design service, from inception to completion.
Located in North Devon, the majority of our work is based in and around the counties of Devon and Cornwall, however, if logistically feasible, we are happy to look at schemes further afield.
Our portfolio is varied and includes the design of new houses, both individual properties and small estates, barn conversions, domestic extensions, loft conversions, refurbishment works, accessibility design, small scale commercial projects and interior design.
Each project is bespoke to you, the client, and we can provide as little or as much input as required; we are here to listen.
Our Team
Deborah Somerville, BA(Hons) DipArch (Landscape Design) RIBA
Deborah is an experienced RIBA and ARB registered Chartered Architect.
She studied at Plymouth School of Architecture and graduated with a First Class Honours degree (part one). She then gained her Diploma in Architecture (part two) alongside a post-graduate diploma in Landscape Design. She was elected in October 2001 into Corporate Membership of the Royal institute of British Architects.
Gaining in excess of 20 years post qualification experience in architectural practice, she formed her own practice in the November of 2008.
Amanda Bonnefin - A.B Landscape Design
Amanda is a North Devon based landscape designer, with a post graduate diploma in Landscape Architecture, and over twenty years experience in the industry.
She has worked on a wide range of projects from small scale garden design in association with new extensions to detailed landscape schemes for new build developments. She can provide a wide range of landscape consultancy services from sketch concepts for outline planning to detailed hard landscape and planting plans, as well as landscape and visual impact assessments.
Working in close collaboration with the architectural team, her input will help to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive approach to your project.
Other Consultants
We work with a number of specialist consultants during the course of our projects, including but not limited to: Land/Building Surveyors, Structural Engineers, Ecologists, Renewable Energy Installers, Environmental Consultants, Planning Consultants, Drainage Experts and not forgetting our hand-picked Contractors. Should you require their expertise during your project we will introduce you to them as necessary.
